About Kids Digital Learning
Kids Digital Learning is an independent editorial site that reviews and compares kids' learning products and family tech — online music lessons, reading and writing apps, coding and STEM courses and kits, live online classes and tutoring, parental-control apps and kids' audio players. It is written for the parents and carers who choose and pay for them.
Who edits this site
Kids Digital Learning is edited by Stephan Kulik, an independent editor and a private individual based in Cyprus. He researches and writes the reviews and comparisons and is responsible for the site's editorial standards and corrections. No teaching or child-development credentials are claimed. For each product, the editor tests the parent side — sign-up, pricing as displayed, the cancellation path and the parent dashboard — and reads the terms and privacy policy. How that works is set out in our methodology.
What this site is for
This site is for parents and carers choosing learning apps, classes and family tech. It is written for adults and is not a children's service: there are no child accounts, no comments and no sign-ups of any kind. If you are under 18, this site is not written for you.
How this site is funded
Through affiliate commissions. When you buy or sign up through some of our links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. There is no advertising on this site. Money never changes a verdict: our methodology is published, and a product we consider a poor fit is described that way whether or not a programme exists. See the full affiliate disclosure.
What we will never do
- Call anything "best overall" — a recommendation is always "best for" a stated need, by stated criteria.
- Make hands-on claims without a dated test behind them.
- Claim learning or developmental outcomes for children — we do not test products with children.
- Publish child-directed content or collect data from anyone, children included.
- Accept undisclosed paid placements.
- Invent reviews, testers, statistics or credentials.
